Paper Rolls Australia is committed to upholding strict environmental policies and sources its paper from experienced and reputable paper manufacturers worldwide, who, in turn, work with paper mills supporting sustainably managed fibre sources and manufacturing processes with reduced environmental impacts.

Certifications from our paper suppliers show the use of paper pulp produced from forests with sustainable forestry, from suppliers which are certified by different local systems such as:

FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) - an international network promoting responsible management of the world's forests

PEFC (Programme for Endorsement of Forest Certification) - a global, independent, non-profit, non-governmental umbrella organisation for the assessment of and mutual recognition of national forest certification schemes

CERFLOR - the Brazilian Forest Certification Program that evaluates and verifies sustainable practices in the production of wood products

Many of our paper products are produced from paper manufactured using ECF (elementary chlorine free) or TCF (totally chlorine free) pulp within a neutral PH range. As such, these papers are certified by our suppliers as "not environmentally dangerous". Stringent testing reveals that the papers are non-toxic and a non-irritant to the skin, and can be disposed as normal papers – ie they can be recycled, incinerated or sent to a household waste dump without causing damage to the environment during the decomposition process.
